John Freeman

Editor and Artist in Residence, New York University
 

John Freeman is an American writer and literary critic, currently editor at Freeman´s. He was the editor of the literary magazine Granta until 2013, the former president of the National Book Critics Circle, and his writing has appeared in almost 200 English-language publications around the world, including The New York Times Book Review, the Los Angeles Times, The Guardian, and The Wall Street Journal. His books include Maps, Tales of Two Americas, How to Read a Novelist, and The Tyranny of Email. Writer in residence at NYU’s Creative Writing Program, this talk will be part of his Italian tour on the occasion of Freeman´s first Italian translation published in Florence by Edizioni Black Coffee.
