James Bird
Founder and Co-Editor of Belville Park Pages

James was born in Wolverhampton, which is a small city in the middle of the UK near a bigger city called Birmingham. He lives in London, where he moved to study English Literature. He set up the Belleville Park Pages with Wil Coxl in the summer of 2013, and since then have printed over 280 writers from all over the world. He has had his own writing published in online journals like The Sigh Press and newwavevomit, and also print publications like Paris Lit Up.


 
Will Cox
Founder and Co-Editor of Belville Park Pages

Will Cox was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, then moved to Boston to study business at college. In early 2013 he left the US to travel and ended up co-founding the Belleville Park Pages, a publication for emerging writers from around the world. Some of his own writing has been published in Ireland and Italy.


 
Madison McCormick
NYU Florence student

Madison McCormick is a GLS Junior concentrating in Contemporary Culture and Creative Production at NYU. She spent her first year abroad at NYU Paris, second year in New York, and is currently spending the entirety of her junior year at NYU Florence. While in Florence, she has served as a Digital Strategy intern for the UNICEF Office of Research. As a result of all the experiences and travels that have come with the past three years, she has become inspired to pursue an accelerated Master´s degree in International Relations at NYU.


 
Alessandro Raveggi
NYU Florence Lecturer

Alessandro Raveggi is a Lecturer in Modern Italian Literature at New York University Florence and other American academic programs in Florence. He has published, among others, the collection of short stories Il grande regno dell’emergenza (LiberAria, 2016), the novel Nella vasca dei terribili piranha (Effigie, 2012), the collection of essays Calvino Americano (Le Lettere, 2012) and the first Italian introduction to the book David Foster Wallace (Doppiozero editions, 2014). He has also published collections of poems Nominazioni (Ladolfi, 2016) and La trasfigurazione degli animali in bestie (Transeuropa, 2011), and also series of short stories for the Italian newspapers La Repubblica and Corriere della Sera. He was the curator of an anthology of Italian tales on Latin America and Panamericana (published by La Nuova Frontiera, 2016) and is currently editor of The FLR, The Florentine Literary Review, the first Italian bilingual literary magazine in Italian and English (http://theflr.net/theflr).


 
Vanni Santoni
Writer

Vanni Santoni lives in Florence. After his debut book Personaggi precari (RGB 2007, then Voland 2013) he published, among other works, the novels Gli interessi in comune (Feltrinelli 2008), Se fossi fuoco, arderei Firenze (Laterza 2011), In territorio nemico(minimum fax 2013, as coordinator), Terra ignota (Mondadori 2013) and Terra ignota 2 - Le figlie del rito (Mondadori 2014). He writes on the cultural pages of Corriere della Sera, Italy´s leading newspaper.
