Who makes decisions in the European Union? And who holds the legislative, executive and judiciary power within this supranational entity? Recently, the decision by British voters for the UK to leave the EU sent shock waves across the Union. Why are European citizens increasingly unhappy with the EU? Is it a sign of a democratic deficit within the EU? Professor Nicolò Conti will address these questions and discuss the EU political system and decision-making processes. After the talk Professor Conti will introduce interested students to the Working Group.
