Trans* people’s rights have recently been the subject of discussion in many European countries. Stefano Osella and Daniela Alaattinoglu will discuss how and why different European countries have regulated trans* people’s lives, from identity documents to reproductive and parental rights. They will also pose the question of how trans* rights activism has been changing European regulation, and what difficulties arise in the legal accommodation of trans* people.
